Technical Architect - Dynamics AX(Job Number:26247)
Description
As a Technical Architect your role will include;
Solution Management: responsible for technical aspects of a Dynamics AX vertical or any Avanade product
- Capture technical design of the solution/the product
- Technical support of solution road map and upgrade scripts
- Integrate packages and modules of third parties
- Assist in creating demo-environments and manage/maintain them
- Define operational procedures and guidelines regarding implementation, installation and operations
- Follow-up on bugs and incidents about own products
- Manage knowledge transfer of analyst-programmers in order to maintain solutions
- Reporting to Solution Manager
Project implementation: - Design and analysis of customized programming for implementation projects
- Train and manage analyst-programmers
- Programming of custom software
- Manage the overall quality of customisations, software architecture and technical installation of implemented projects
- Reporting to Project Manager
Technical Architect Board:
- Define procedures, guidelines and evolutions for services and solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our services and solutions
Reporting to Unit Manager
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
We are seeking customer oriented delivery professionals with outstanding verbal and written communication skills who are comfortable leading discussions with senior executives.
You will possess a high degree of integrity, credibility, and character evidenced through managerial and leadership expertise.
-Minimum 5 years of experience as Dynamics AX developer
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Dynamics AX technical architect or lead developer
- Thorough knowledge of X++, C#, MS SQL, XML, WCF, SharePoint, TFS, SSRS, Visual Studio
- Be able to convert business, functional and non-functional requirements into a design that takes into account these requirements
- Have a large sense of responsibility
- CAPM
- Fully trained in Business Process Modelling
- Fully trained UML technique
- Applicable development guidelines: thorough practical knowledge (eg. SWEBOK)
- Good knowledge of testing best-practices
- Broad knowledge in general, as well as expertise knowledge in specific fields (necessary to gain trust of your developers). Possible missing knowledge in other fields can be regained from colleagues
- Knowledge of patterns, logic and algorithms
- Continuous improvement of yourself, learning and following trends
- Able to assist in "make or buy" decision processes
- Be aware of resources, costs and economic reality
