Dynamics CRM Consultant / Developer
Avanade UK is looking to hire an experienced Dynamics CRM Consultant / Developer for our Microsoft Dynamics CRM UK team. This role will be critical in order to help maintain our market-leading position within the Microsoft Dynamics CRM marketplace and in particular continue to be recognised as thought leaders in business solutions.

About the role
The Dynamics CRM Consultants / Developers are responsible for providing technical expertise to
Avanade’s UK clients by developing and implementing innovative Dynamics CRM solutions. Key areas of focus are CRM solutioning, technical design and development, delivering projects as well as technical input to proposal development and customer sales activities.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a major growth area for Avanade and this role is critical in contributing to the provision of world-class enterprise solutions to our clients to maintain our number 1 position in the market.
Our Consultants are expected to develop tailored solutions to some of the largest and most complex customer needs to the UKs biggest brands and most exciting projects available.
We’re looking for talented individuals with proven experience of operating within consultancy-based environments, who are able to participate heavily in the design and development of CRM solutions while interacting with clients with a strong level of consultancy-oriented analysis and communication skills. You will become an integrated part of our highly skilled CRM team and work with some of the brightest people in the business today.
Qualifications
Essential Knowledge & Experience Required
-Strong technical acumen and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM from both a technical and functional perspective.
- Experience in integration architectures including development tools/products and standards
- Demonstrated technical project management and execution experience, including understanding of delivery methodologies such as Microsoft SureStep, Prince2, SCRUM, DSDM, Extreme Programming etc
- A strong awareness and understanding of a project methodology such as an understanding of Agile or scrum based development of CRM.
- Client facing Business Process Analysis and Design skills, including estimation and planning.
- • Ability to quickly understand business problems and opportunities, guide clients through the design process and be able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical people at all levels (operational, management and senior management)
- Must have full understanding of the full delivery life cycle (plan, analyse, design build, test) and be able to produce the required documentation, such as but not limited to;- test strategy, plans and deployment guides
- A detailed knowledge and understanding of all CRM functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Contact/Call Centres.
- Experience developing Dynamics CRM extensions such as plugins, custom workflows and JavaScript.
- Knowledge developing Silverlight applications for Dynamics CRM is desirable.
- Experience of Microsoft Customer Care Accelerator (CCA) or previous experience in Customer Care Framework (CCF) would be highly beneficial
- • A strong working knowledge of associated technologies including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Outlook and Office, Microsoft Sharepoint, Active Directory.
- • Good understanding of general .NET development including experience writing ASP.NET and C# code.
- Awareness of 3rd party solutions and how these can be leveraged
- A strong grasp of technical and business English which enable the candidate to fully interact with our UK customer base.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to become a strong and integral part of a CRM delivery team.
- CRM Project experience in one of Avanade’s Industries which include Financial Services, Utilities, Telecoms, Media and Contact Centres.
