Job description:
Avanade Inc. seeks a Third Level Application Support Manager in Seattle, WA to lead offshore/onshore application support teams in a follow-the-sun support model and to lead agile projects as a scrum master. She will work, in a back-office management capacity, with the Software Product Management organization to determine Software Product requirements and key features and functions to be delivered. S/he will review and validate specific solution configuration/deal shaping to ensure delivery capability. S/he will ensure execution of the Software Product design/build work across multiple products. S/he will enforce baseline scope and change control. S/he will be responsible for training, engagement, succession planning, conducting annual reviews for the Software Product Engineering team and Application Support team. S/he will manage and reduce overall drivers of project cost, field escalations that are faced during the project, and provide feedback and career direction to subordinate employees. S/he will lead the implementation of customer solutions using .net C#, web-services APIs (rest and soap), SSRS reports, OData, java scripts, file processing, MVC, MVP, MVVM. S/he will lead the implementation of solutions using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011/Microsoft CRM 4. S/he will use cloud platforms and confront complex integration scenarios involving cloud and on premises application landscapes. S/he will employ a Software-As-A-Service business model. This position involves telecommuting from home for up to 50% of the time. However, as the individual will work at Avanade’s Seattle, WA headquarters for at least 50% of the time, s/he must reside within commuting distance of Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as a Solution Developer, Engineer, Consultant, or in a closely related position. In addition, the applicant must have professional experience with: (i) Implementing customer solutions using .net C#, web-services APIs (rest and soap), SSRS reports, OData, java scripts, file processing, MVC, MVP, MVVM; (ii) Implementing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011/Microsoft CRM 4; (iii) Working as a participant within an offshore/onshore application support team in a follow-the-sun support model; (iv) Working as a participant on agile projects; (v) Using cloud platforms and confronting complex integration scenarios involving cloud and on premises application landscapes; and (vi) Employing a Software-As-A-Service business model.
